yeah it's a monoculture yawn fest, and the gay stereotypes they all sell annoy me as a gay guy tbh, i think it infantalizes people if i do watch anything, it's mainly French stuff, some YT people, etc but tbh i find that getting out and doing things, interacting IRL, working out (lifting), writing, painting, sketching and a little reading keep me entertained and too busy to watch anything and i don't like YT how to vids either because I can read the same info in 1/10th the time it takes to watch 😂
yeah i never watch howto, gimme fuckin instructions with texts i can copy and paste dammit occasionally howtos are sorta useful for stuff like how to disassemble some obscure electronic device, but gimme stackexchange over that any day and yeah, the french... ahaha two of my favourite directors Luc Besson and Jeunet, and idk who made that one Imortel:Ad Vitam and i loved that old cyberpunk movie Nirvana there is nothing worth watching coming out of california these days, absolutely nothing, they have gone completely off the rails
yeah that type of stuff is good when a demo is needed visually. sometimes i'll watch someone show a painting technique. we went on a group trip to India in 2014 and my husband and i went off on our own at each location rather than listen to the guide repeating stuff we had read the night before or months before the trip on Wikipedia or in books, etc. we got more photos, interacted more with people, had more fun... while the zombies sat there for an hour listening to a windbag and then had 15 minutes to explore a site (Buddhist sites). 😂🤷♂️😇
