Every time I think on this upcoming election I get a pit in my stomach and a sense of floating anxiety. I know I can’t be alone in feeling this. What happens to a society when there can no longer be a peaceful exchange of power, when the system itself can no longer be trusted and freely validated? What force does it take to reverse the psyche of an entire populace, to reset the zeitgeist if you will? I’d rather not imagine it. I’m sure the gears are just turning too much, and most likely things will turn out fine. But I just wanted to put this out there in the ether, just in case, for posterity’s sake. Keep your heads on a swivel folks. Liberty never comes cheap. #StaySovereign #sovereignOne #NothingButLead #bitcoin #BTC #privacy #sovereignty #zaps #mining #lightning #nostr #pleb #plebchain #newstr #Rothbard #ProofOfWork #technology #history #economics #austrians #finance #news #liberty #libertarian https://m.primal.net/LrkT.jpg
you mean thoughts of #Trump again ignoring democracy and attempting to illegally seize power via a #coup worry you? #metoo
I think one can reason about it. We had the coup against Joe Biden and that was bloodless and uneventful. We almost had a successful assassination against the front runner for the presidency. The media is pulling hard for the anointed replacement for Biden after being complicit in hiding the facts that required his ouster… So either orange man or kinda black woman will win presidency. If Orange man wins, we already know what they will do. We’ve seen that movie. If the diversity hire wins, then that puts a lot of citizens at odds with governmental political goals…like civilian disarmament, reparations/violation of property rights, race baiting, etc…this could spiral in to authoritarianism through actual or false flag violence. Unlike most things, this will not be good for bitcoin and bitcoin will not fix this (quickly).
Well said and valid points all around.
