I have been a registered voter since the day I turned eighteen. My parents instilled in me the importance of voting. How it was my job as a US citizen. How lucky I was to live in a country where I could vote. As I grew older and studied US and world history I also learned how lucky I was to have a peaceful transfer of power between groups. I don’t know if I will vote for president this cycle and it tears at my soul.
