@brugeman and @rabble , as you can see from this simple python code, 

- on a network as big as nostr N = 100k

- with people divided in communities (high connectivity inside a community, low connectivity between communities)

- on my i5 4690k 16GB RAM

All it takes is 95 seconds.

I doubt doing N=100k times Appleseed is faster than that.
