GM #Nostr ☕🙂🤙 Happy hump day. 💜 Now the vent: I've had quite a hectic morning with tired children. One trying to bunk school with dragging heels, the other so excited to go to kindergarten it was hard to get him ready. I'm well behind on housework, due to continued back pain. I'm trying to keep moving without overdoing it, but it's a fine balance. I got my treatment summary from Sunday's Emergency Department visit. The reported diagnosis: chronic back pain. Yes. That's the root if it. 🙄 Anyway, I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow so hopefully he will dig a bit deeper.
Good luck fren I hope it gets better, the diagnosis shouldn't just be pain youre stuck with🫂
I know. I laughed when I read it. My wife was not impressed. She had higher expectations by sending me there. This is like 2018 all over again. Back pain? Here have some more drugs to mask it.
I'm surprised they just didn't hand you a Dr's note and some opiods and tell you to go on permanent Social Security, i get your wife having higher expectations we all think they should be more helpful but most of the time they are guessing unless somethings broken or bleeding
I know. I can't get any Social Security because on paper I own* a property and a small piece of land. It honestly feels much like the time I had a fractured vertebrae at L2, and an 18mm lesion in L5, among the other damage. But that's what's bothering me most rn. But it's not easy to examine by hand. 🤷♂️ *the bank owns it, I just pay the interest so I can still claim it's mine.
I didn't know that affected getting social security, what would be required to find out about your vertebrae a MRI?
