I’ve always wanted to transcribe music into notation (and/or chord progressions) as a side hustle.
I have always used Sibelius as my music notation software, but I wonder if you could take it a step further to use some open source protocol music notation 🤔
That's awesome! I've heard of MuseScore that says it's open source but I don't know much about it. My friends use and recommend either Sibelius or Finale.
Yeah, Sibelius is honestly fantastic software. It’s been 10+ years since I tried Finale.
But if there were some open source protocol / file type for rendering notation… that could make for a cool niche nostr client 🤔
I have played with some related Python packages… it was not very user friendly from what I recall.
