'It’s scary that my privacy is not safe in court,' says survivor in Kerala actor assault case

The survivor in the 2017 actor abduction and sexual assault case expressed shock over the report of a judicial probe into the alleged unauthorized access of a memory card containing the visuals of the assault while it was in the custody of court. The survivor's privacy was violated as the hash value of the memory card got changed multiple times. The survivor will continue to fight for justice and believes in the sanctity of the judiciary. The survivor approached the High Court with the details of the inquiry report and a petition to quash the report and order a court-monitored probe by a special police team. The judicial probe revealed that certain individuals accessed the memory card. The survivor expressed concern that her privacy is not currently safe in court.
