Has anyone gone #LongformOnly, already, or have you not yet given up on being a niche internet celebrity?
my long form stuff doesn't do as well engagement-wise as my shorter notes.

but, it takes me longer to push those out because of time constraints so i don't have a steady flow of them.
Long-form is high-signal stuff worth pushing out to a web page, tho. That's the difference. It's not just chatter in somone's feed. It's more like blogging than microblogging.
i really enjoy habla for long-form, but when i post it i'm not sure anyone sees it. i'm almost certain there aren't too many ppl looking for it here yet...
Yeah, there aren't, but microblogging is psychological torture because you know that people COULD be looking at it, but hardly anyone actually is. With long-form, you know, in advance, that nobody is going to see it. 😅
 omg
that's way worse    ;___;
lol

the first time i posted an article i was like "okay, where does it go? how do ppl find it?? now what???"
*sigh*
I write kind 01 notifications, when I post an article, which means about 3 people see it, instead of 0. 😅
i noticed you doing that, so i copied your method lol
i got three likes i think ^.^
is there a way to see how many views something gets..?
Amethyst shows a number, but I don't know what it means.
 purrfect
i don't know what any of this means anyway :P
Both short and long are useful for different types of communications.
I agree, but I'm getting burnt out on microblogging. Would rather write longer, more complicated texts. That's much more "me". I'm verbose.
That is one reason I never used Twitter/X. I can't be limited to such short posts. Even my microblogging tends towards the longer posts. I guess I use long form posts for well organized thought out posts. I use the short form posts when I am just doing a brain dump without the organization or formatting. ;)
me too, rarely under 500 characters
