Hardest part I would say with starting out is getting a good follow list. There really isn't a perfect answer. Primal has a top posts past 24hr feed. You can look at some of those people then who they are following and start curating a follow list. I also recommend lurking at hashtags like #plebchain . Nostr clients mostly really doesn't have algos or great search yet so following and  commenting is the best way to meet new people and get some follows as well. There will be growing pains. Also treat your Nostr NSEC like a crypto private key.
