This is true, but what happens if musk decides he wants to change policies or sells it, or the algorithms change… I understand spending the time posting there and engaging over there, but it isn’t hard to copy and paste it to nostr and try to build a big following here as well… yes we don’t have the same numbers of any of the legacy platforms right now, but someday…

And I understand that, but I still say, it’s not that hard to just copy and post the same here, especially since so many of the social media apps here are Twitter copies… just to build a following here as it grows too… right now it be hard to make nostr profitable on btc posts because it’s already flooded with btc notes, but after it equalizes someday he could be one of the top follows here if he starts early… ultimately I really don’t care, but it just feels like narrowing vision on his behalf… I’m sure people thought google adwords revenue was going be forever at one time too

Personally I hate copy/pasted cross posting, and generally it’s a bad strategy for creators. Wasted time. You always spend more time on a particular platform than other, and what works on one does not work on the next. What earns engagement and revenue on X doesn’t work the same on Nostr. We’ve seen that time and again with Bitcoin influencers who come here and get frustrated and leave. Cross posting may earn him a few sats, but he’s not going to build community and genuine connections without spending real time here and ultimately that’s what’s going to be the winning strategy here.
