@bb052609 Recently there was a NYT crossword with a theme of "sesquipedalian" words and the comments were full of people who'd never heard of the big theme word, "antidisestablishmentarianism" (and were mad about it). I know it's an obscure word, but I'd thought all crosswordish people would have learned it as the factoid of the "longest word in the English language" as a kid. Though not its meaning, of course! 😆 So yeah, same here -- often wrong about others' knowledge!
@4fb795fc I would have thought everyone doing they NYT crossword would know about "antidisestablishmentarianism" too.
