I'd try it out ! The Quietest Room on Earth The world's quietest room is at Orfield Labs in Minneapolis. The room is so quiet that the background noise measures negative decibels, -9.4 dBA. A typical quiet bedroom measures at 30 dBA. Once inside the room, you can hear the sounds of your organs and after 30 minutes, you'll begin to hallucinate. The longest anyone has lasted inside this room is 45 minutes. So who wants to try it out? https://files.freeatlantis.com/system/media_attachments/files/111/152/557/866/285/850/original/f6381a2900f27d44.png
@0af78396 I will if it's also a Faraday cage. It probably is. In college we visited a radio observatory nearby (chosen for its position in a small valley with lots of surrounding hills to block terrestrial signals). They had one for testing antennae and receivers. It was definitely a Faraday cage too. They let us in to see, but wouldn't let us go in alone, or close the door.
@0af78396 me too. I havent heard anything close to silence since getting married.
