I'm not in the US, but they've been passing by a bit more frequently over here, as well. 

 Are you on the east or west coast? 

 East. But I have a friend on the West who had the Blue Angels go by yesterday (which is admittedly a little differrent). Here it was two jets in a line.  

 It could just be routine security drills, but I would understand why they're performing them a bit more frequently. NYC is obviously a prime target. Hitting there first would send the entire US populace into disarray, and then the entire nation would be open to attack. 

 Same bloody situation over here in London.

 Going to reply so I can follow this. I haven't experienced it, but wanna keep my finger on the pulse. 

 Move inside the blast radius of a first strike target. Then you won't have to worry about these kind of things.
