Today, we’re pleased to announce a new release of Floresta! This release introduces libflorestad, enabling easy integration by any wallet or application, making running full nodes more accessible.

This release includes an enhanced JSON-RPC, BIP-158 compact block filter integration, an embeddable library for the daemon, Signet support for PoW fraud proof, and extensive testing!

Compact Block Filters allow you to find your historical transactions without downloading all blocks. 

With PoW fraud proof, you can get a node up and running quickly, offering a security model far superior to traditional SPV.

Finally, with libflorestad, existing Bitcoin applications can embed a node that exposes an Electrum Server. The node requires minimal changes to work on any Electrum-compatible app.
