Decentralized Secure Open source Secure? Is it really? #asknostr
Yes
Define secure.
Not sure... however it is define in here - nostr:nevent1qqsdz7asszea9ss58m0ensrkjfmwpcu8mnfcf52eeyl3gtsca0e0v8gpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqzyrh7tw7gx3vqd680fu0hew8slsqpf29hgd4q5p7lmt5akf5hwkldjqcyqqqqqqg0sqs39
It's more secure than centralized systems that can be compromised by hackers, governments or by not following basic security measures like properly hashing passwords. With #nostr you avoid all that to the extent its possible and a private key is way better than what most people would sett as their password.
I don't know. You define it.
I mean, you cryptographically sign your notes, you encrypt your DMs, so in that regard yes, as long as you keep your nsec private.
Depends what you mean by secure
I saw it on this video: nostr:nevent1qqsdz7asszea9ss58m0ensrkjfmwpcu8mnfcf52eeyl3gtsca0e0v8gpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqzyrh7tw7gx3vqd680fu0hew8slsqpf29hgd4q5p7lmt5akf5hwkldjqcyqqqqqqg0sqs39
