 @b8296790 When you make the thing wet and the stretch and pin the FO into its final shape
 Sometimes people "soft block", e.g. make it wet, and stretch it out on towels or whatever to dry. Lace in particular looks like a gnarled hot mess until blocked, which opens out and reveals the lace pattern. It also usuallyales the FO bigger.
