 If we are immortal and life is an adventure, then we have an infinite adventure.  
If we are not immortal and life is an adventure, then we have an adventure that eventually ends.

My perfectionist side wants the adventure to have an end, where you understand it all. My explorer side wants it to be infinite, so there's always new stuff to discover.
