@429bb265 my parents made me sign for an additional loan I didn't need. 
It was before regulations made it so private lenders couldn't take advantage of students who were fucking stupid like me and take out waaaay more than what was probably really needed
Of course my parents just started to shrug off helping me pay. 
After graduation I was paying $1400 a month, mostly from the loans my parents convinced me to sign. 
I hate it here.
