Hello, World of Nostr.

My name is Colin Czerwinski, and I'm a photographer and the editor/curator behind a small but passionate photography publication called @noicemag. For over 15 years, I've been making photographs, and for nearly a decade, I've been running NOICE—where I share and celebrate the work of photographers who, like me, see the beauty in the curious, the humorous, and the colorful.

Photography, for me, is deeply personal. It's a way of connecting with the world and inviting others to see it through my eyes. By sharing my vision, I hope to inspire others to pick up a camera and start documenting the world around them, finding joy in the unexpected and the everyday.

Joining Nostr feels both intimidating and exciting. It's a new frontier, full of possibilities, and I'm glad to be part of it. Here, I hope to share more freely—my photography, my thoughts on life, and my musings on everything from Bitcoin, trading, science and beyond. The freedom to express without censorship is a value, and I look forward to exploring it here.

 I’m right there with you! Just a photographer (and light painter) looking for a place to share my art outside of the confines of social media platforms that have somewhat left the art behind.  For sure! I have spent so many years grinding other platforms to a point that it kills my desire to go out to shoot. So hopefully this can be the core place for my community. It’ll be another exciting journey for sure 

 What other platforms have you used? Have you used threads at all? 

 You name it I’m on it. Found quite a bit of success on TikTok (15k), but not real community, IG is my main but algorithms push my content out for promiscuous selfies 😂, threads I’ve seen mixed success with and even did the Vero grind for a while. But 🤷‍♂️ I don’t blame the platforms they are what they are. But I’m really just looking for a core group who appreciate my work, to be able to actually see my work when they follow me and to network with other creatives in hopes of making the jump to photography full time.
