Both samples were left in their tubes for 72 hours +/- https://image.nostr.build/d80791b6bbde89ebec38141be1ec9da3811184e9bdcf2625513dddddedb3adbb.jpg Left tube: A sample from a heavy clay field a friend and I are working on restoring. Still have alot of work to be done restoring fertility to the field. Right tube: A sample from a current small "compost row" trial I am working on. A mix between a #Johnson-Su compost and an #aerobic compost row. Time is one major factor in this trial. Alot of people create thermophilic compost to reduce time and get the compost ready to apply asap. Generally this process leads to higher pH and being primarily #bacterial dominant. The main goal for this trial is to see how fungal / what quality I can make the #compost, given a small amount of targeted inputs, adequate moisture and minimal physical effort (less turning throughout the process) Notice the difference in regards to color being suspended after both samples have sat undisturbed for a period of time. The suspension demonstrates the quality of #Fulvic / #Humic #Acids being produced from each system.
