Lemmy seems to have the same problem as Reddit where no one actually *clicks* the link.
The latest @d660d9f1 article is sitting at 780 points on one of the big technology communities, but most of the people commenting definitely didn’t read it first, and the clickthrough rate seems to be pretty low (hard to accurately measure with fedi media).

@d6a085c8 yes that problem is a user problem - many do it everywhere when commenting. I literally have to often say, but yes that was discussed in the article.
