every society that has tried to promote women to full human status is facing demographic collapse 

a woman is meant to be a man's best friend.  like what @Mike Dilger has a dog for.  imagine giving your dog equal rights to yourself.  that's what we did and wonder why everything is going to hell in a handbasket.

we can accept that dogs aren't human and still have laws to protect them from abuse, as we do.

we likewise could accept that women are emotional support animals and marry them off against their will at age 7 but still have laws to ensure their health and well being.
