Is that the 1000 year house guy?
Close! It’s his pupil, Austin Tunnell, who runs Building Culture out of OK City
 A monastery?
Oklahoma City, at this property in particular. https://www.paradeofhomesok.com/builders/building-culture-design-build-llc Really amazing to see a newly built home where the walls are solid brick. Marriage of Utility, Durability, and Beauty.
Sweet. Been following the talk on bitcoin urbanism lately. Much of value there but imho the conservative angle is ngmi. Modernism can't be undone, just like bitcoin can't be uninvented. Forgive me for shilling my article, hoping to enrich the conversation: https://silvanlaan.com/arch_in_evo_mar24.pdf
I miss a discussion of durability in your article. Personally I love technology and progress, as long as universal principles of sound architecture and engineering aren’t violated. Modularity, you know.
Thanks for your feedback Tuur. I do briefly touch on the issue of durability in the paragraph on the Metabolists. Durability understood as a continuous process of loving maintenance (Also Chuck Marohn's position I believe). Nothing to the detriment of structural masonry or timber frames ("gebint" in het Nederlands) btw. Your point on modularity is well taken.
