i am also following closely whats going on in fedimint development
for me its the perfect solution approch for bitcoin scaling and security 
yes you lose some properties of the chain but its a good enough trade off! 

 The privacy aspects of Cashu make Bitcoin function more like cash than property 

 I tried it for the first time last night. It's awesome. I want to learn more about it and use it more. 

 Regardless I think it is all really exciting! Over time there may need to be more clients/applications built to make the end-user experience more optimal.
