I would have to disagree with you. I have 6 miners hosted with a small family run operation in Iowa. I would have to pay .50 per kHh at my home. That makes running my hardware at home unreasonable with BTC prices at 62K. I pay .07 per kWh with the team in Iowa. I can point my hash power anywhere I want.

I live offgrid and am one of the few people who didn't have a terrible experience with compass.

Although once the asics had paid for themselves I terminated the contract.

It IS a trusted 3rd party and that's objectionable.
