The Diaspora Affairs Ministry cut ties with Haaretz, denouncing its recent claims of Israel enforcing an "apartheid regime" over Palestinians.

The Ministry’s Director-General, Avi Cohen-Scali, stated that the decision aligns with the Ministry's commitment to counter delegitimization efforts against Israel, asserting that Haaretz’s labeling of violent actors as “freedom fighters” was "incitement."

Diaspora Ministry: "We will not collaborate with organizations that harm Israel’s image by accusing IDF soldiers of 'heinous actions.'”

The Ministry's policy underscores a zero-tolerance approach to partnerships with entities it believes undermine Israel’s global legitimacy.
