a beloved friend of mine died a while back. unfortunately, her email was with Yahoo, which means it was hacked, so now my dead friend is sending me spam emails pretty much daily. sometimes I wonder if I'm a good person, and the way I know I'm not is because if I had the ability and capacity to identify these people, I would destroy every single possession they had; I would reduce it to the constituent atoms; I would leave them nothing.

So sorry that you're being haunted by your dead friend through these evil people.
I have one former coworker who continually haunts me in my spam but she was still posting on FB at the end of last year. 
Hope these evil people at least remind you of happy memories.
