 Nostr is going to die many times.. Kinda like how Bitcoin dies, regularly.. Lol

 I wouldn't be surprised. Twitter has felt strangely addictive recently, more so than usual. I've had a hard time staying away from it. Looks like Musk is trying to enslave humanity by keeping them glued to twitter 😁 

 He's done just enough to keep the content creators there, to be fair to him 

 Active users has been stable for months at 10K
Stable stream of newcomers but with low retention replacing users disangaging.  

 My guesstimation is.. The same. 

 I actually think the content and interactions are great, but I think it takes a lot of traction before a post gets interaction. For anything other than Bitcoin/Nostr/ niche celebrity life updates, I don't think things get enough traction to see any engagement. 

So I see how it's not very enticing to come here and post stuff. Usually, you'd already have your social circle connecting with you on your social media of choice. Or you get mad views cause there are a lot of scrollers. Neither of which apply to nostr.

I only stuck around cause being on nostr is a net positive in my life. There's nothing bringing me back per se. When some craic happens, I'm not particularly inclined to get back on nostr, see what other people think, post my own shit.

 I think we’ll see a bigger migration in 2024, coming off of increased engagement in the bitcoin twitter space among other things.

 I came on with the big flux earlier this year with the #GrowNostr initiative that Jack Spirko started. All the podcasts that I listen to, no one else talks about #nostr.... I've reached out to Tom Woods, and I get 🦗 a response. We need some bigger names promoting it. I've posted on my other social about how you don't get crap like fecesbook just did to me me... But with very little results. I don't have an answer. 

I try to post interesting stuff besides bitcoin and use hastags... 🤷🏼‍♂️ I don't know what else to do?

 Don’t know but reality is most people are sheep who don’t care about censorship, free speech, or any other issue. They just want food, drugs, and toys and they’re fat, dumb and happy. No one will pay for nostr or anything similar.
