@872ab8e1 Musk's takeover of Twitter is a part of a much broader coordinated campaign to obliterate humanity's defences against disinformation. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2023/09/23/online-misinformation-jim-jordan/ Journalists in the US who fail to acknowledge that and keep up the both-siding "neutrality" theater don't appreciate where this road goes. In countries not that much further down this road journalists get jailed and killed for doing their jobs.
@872ab8e1 It's always lovely to watch obscenely rich people ruin things people have relied on for more than a decade on random whimsy or ego. Impressive job though. Beating Facebook at spreading disinformation is a seriously hard bar to clear. But he did it. Congratulations I guess. You're a testament to all of America's enemies, the spread of disease and destruction, etc. I wonder if he's trying to apply for position as a horseman of the apocalypse. Good luck!
