To those of you who live outside the US (especially expats) what country are you in and how well do you think a family of three with a young child would fair moving there? I have four years until I retire from my current leash and then we are thinking if leaving the country for some where slower, more nature oriented, and with a lower cost of living.

 I'd invite you to Czechia, but it might be a bit of a stretch. Anyway our maternity leave is three years and we're fairly ok with homeschooling. Most people under 40-50 are also ok with english, but that doesn't really apply to rural areas.
