This survey is a big waste of time, because it doesn't ask the important questions about why Black people feel this way, or what would fix it. "More education" for journalists will not fix this. 1) Cops lie about Black people and crime. Constantly. The first thing cops say following an incident is almost always a lie. 2) Every journalist that works a crime beat knows this. Not "suspects" this. Knows this. 3) And yet, they print the lies anyway.🤡 https://www.pewresearch.org/journalism/2023/09/26/black-americans-experiences-with-news/
@af2dd916 I pretty much agree with what you say. But unfortunately, the evidence to the contrary is usually unobtainable for journalists. They don't have the time, experience or resources to properly investigate stories. Journalistically, that have nothing but police blotters and sanitized reports upon which to base their stories. Wouldn't it be fun to administer polygraph tests on police officers?
