I took the plunge last year and @Peachy🍑 was nice enough to let me run them more or less from our living room. They're loud but my gaming PC was honestly just as bad so they fit in with it. 

This year I've moved everything outside. The goal will be to have them all in blackboxes that vent into our crawl space and I'll just go manually detach the boxes when it gets too warm inside. Last year we kept the windows open most of the winter and I don't think our actual heating had to kick in at all. The electric went up but I think a lot of that was an increased price from the utility overall so I'm not sure how much we added in energy cost for the miners compared to our normal heat.
