@ee76a5c1 you ever obtain and use special pliers for these constant tension spring hose clamps? Or should I make do with regular pliers?

@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 i've used lineman's pliers with these before if that helps
@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 Regular pliers work fine for me. If it's a large distance, channel locks can be helpful so you can get it right size and still maintain gripping strength.
@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 regular pliers or channel locks/knippex pliers work well on those. they even make some dedicated hose clamp tools that work well and will lock on so you can lock them on in hard to reach places. https://www.amazon.com/BETOOLL-Reach-Clamp-Pliers-Water/dp/B00Z9RSU9W/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=304IIJ0UAX9PM&keywords=hose%2Bclamp%2Bpliers&qid=1695925197&sprefix=hose%2Bclamp%2Bp%2Caps%2C1938&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1
@55b3f2a1 I have the special ones and usually use channel locks
@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 what ever fits will work, I have about five different types of pliers for stuff like that
@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 Pliers are for sissies. Use your fingers and easily remove your fingernails from the front of their nail beds 😂
@55b3f2a1 @ee76a5c1 regular pliers for straight in access, needle nose for 90° access.
