well, one or the other, or both ...
i do remember it was related to mining but don't recall the details ...
the point is Mining is a colossal waste of both energy and computing power yet the elites did NOTHING to stop it - why ?
because perhaps they wanted to develop electrical grid and semiconductor foundry capacity that could later be used for AI
perhaps Electric Vehicle revolution was also orchestrated to strengthen the electrical grid for that same purpose
