 I think it's time to buy a 3d printer.
Recs?

He's gonna recommend "the beast" 🤣
 Following
Ender3 S1 pro is a great printer to get you started and it's relatively cheap these days.
Prusa is on the pricey side, but mine has logged a couple months of actual print time without a hiccup.
 Printing guns?
This looks interesting. But maybe needs some refinement? It is opensource mostly, unlike Bambulab stuff. Prusa is kinda getting too expensive for what it is, though very solid.

 a). What's your budget?
b). What's your tinkering level?

Absolute lowest price for highest value
- Sovol sv06
Excellent $200 machine, upgradable

Decent price, absolute zero tinkering
- Bambu P1P
$600 plug-&-play no hassle
Solid advice. Elegoo Neptune Series ain't bad for entry level printers too.

P1P is a workhorse. P1S is even better. X1C is the same with a fancy touchscreen and a lidar which is mostly a gimmick imo.

Prusa MK4S is really good now too, but has no enclosure or good multicolor option.

I personally avoid Creality, but that's just preference.

Prusa XL Masterrace. It's an over engineered supercar and highly capable, but requires a bit of dedication.
CryptoCloaks told me to buy a BambuLabs P1S. He just bought 4 more. I’ve had it for 2 weeks, printed a ton on it and the only time something failed was when I printed from afar with the door left ajar
I want one, but idk what I would ever print
I love my bambu X1carbon. But the P1S is probably just as good.
Bambu really made a user friendly 3d printer. It's like the Tesla of printers.
I would recommend adding a "textured build plate" to your order.
I had an older 3d printer before this. And rarely used it. Because it required just a bit more of finesse to get it to work right. The bambu makes it easy and resultantly I use it 10 fold more.
Here in Chile that X1C is about $1600US. Is 3D printing with good tools still that expensive or is it just Chile?

Yeah. It's maybe $1500 or so for the X1carbon. The P1S is cheaper.
 Prusa
Hands down Bambu line of printers. If you want to spend your time 3D printing, and not tinkering with the 3D printer itself, Bambu is user friendly and it just works

I’m so dumb that for a full second I read this as “3rd printer” and wondered why anyone needed 3 printers 😂
I thought the exact same lol.
I heard it can be a pain in the ass to set it up and maintain it. There are tons of people on Craigslist who can print anything you like
Naw that was 15 years ago

Today is different
