Hi Annie, the longer i have chickens, the more i enjoy them.  At first i saw them as just utilitarian, for eggs.  But now i see how much joy they add because they are so funny when you take the time to watch them.  I wonder where that chicken came from, that you saw. 

 There are a lot of large properties (several acres) in the area. Some just have horses but some people keep goats, chicken, ducks, etc. Guess she just got out somehow.
