Deleting Signal, so... nostr:nevent1qqs079edg5a0v2j5vdu53nmf6q8ucyweq5m6gwyraum4uen57mf36cspr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqzyrk6jm9e8tkd6cddurqln54lm7260emv789gnqsv8rnwfn49tsxq2qcyqqqqqqgxpcm27
Session works pretty well. I really like the serverless concept of keet the best. Not sure if they've open sourced it yet or not.
keet is mostly open source with a small bit not till later for a few reasons
why?
Because I think I can do better. Rumors may only be rumors, but too many of them.
what are the rumors? i use signal daily
I had heard things before, I think from Whitney Webb, but then this more recently @nostr:nevent1qqsx55wrvkk7yp6rr4ygkf0q607jed7kp4jgy5ecp6hwnym9t39d0lgpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfdupzpq35r7yzkm4te5460u00jz4djcw0qa90zku7739qn7wj4ralhe4zqvzqqqqqqy86gjzr

I do too, btw.
I would say SimpleX but I wish they had a better desktop solution. Using Element so far just for the syncronisation across devices and OSs
...interesting...
The hook that keeps me dangling is 'network effect'. It's hard to no be present where I am often contacted. It's even harder convincing normies to try something like session. Getting people to even think about Signal when they're using WhatsApp was hard enough.
I've been testing out Element with my own server. It seems to work pretty well and the cross-device sync is super handy. Notifications are a little hit or miss on android though. My wife and I have tried messaging on it for a few weeks now and it has been pretty great.
