@e32bfcce I sat in an office for the 1st 15 years of my work life. I got fat and dull. Thankfully, I got fired and started driving for UPS during peak. I got promoted to supervisor and was still out on road. When I became a safety supervisor, I was still on road training, etc. It was great until it sucked on cold days making a teamsters do what he didn't want to do.
@dabe0ad5 Are you still at UPS? I spent a few years working in an office and eventually went into retail management and after about 2 years was promoted to a district manager. I loved being in different stores everyday and working from home. And now I own a business, supplying cannabis stores with accessories. It's SO much better than being in an office! @e32bfcce
@6350630e @e32bfcce I work for Amazon. I'm looking to punch out, though.
@dabe0ad5 @e32bfcce I almost took a job at the Amazon Lake Union office, but took another corporate job instead. That was my last corporate gig, before we started our own business. My last job was a field sales job, which ended up allowing me to start our business because I was already on the road. So I could call on dispensaries during lunch and after hours. If I would have taken the high paying Amazon gig, I wouldn't have been able to do it. Everyone I know at Amazon is miserable.
