 Indirectly, they’re still commonwealth countries with the King of England as the head of state… it’s the UK which is still our colonial power, even if there’s lots of autonomy. So it’s the UK’s relationship to the US… so by a second degree…sure…

 Yes, formally. I'm an expat in Aus and we have US bases here that are not audited by the Aus gov afaik. No Aus citizen is allowed to know what's occurring by a "foreign nation" on their own soil. That seems to be the definition of vassal state to me 😅
