 @dee34601 honestly... You could get this: https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/head-first-python/9781492051282/ . Or some other book in the Head First series. Very good.

 @dee34601 A very different book, but awesome, is "Thinking in Java" by Bruce Eckel. Sadly perhaps dated by now, but it introduced *everything* and *so well*. I think it's free to read.

 @81a354c5 i am just finishing up the intermediate Code Academy course on Python and i did **not** like it. managed to learn a lot, but in spite of the course, not because of it. hoping i can start some projects and get into more depth with other resources.
