That's just about a medium, just. Not even medium/rare.  

 Very disappointing. Was it defrosted in a microwave? 😆 

 It took them so long to serve it I assume they forgot about it and left it on the grill. 

 No. If that was frozen and defrosted in a microwave the meat would have been grey. While overcooked, this doesn't show signs of being frozen and defrosted. This was just an inexperienced cook who doesn't understand how to properly cook a steak to temperature.  

 I feel your pain. I'm going to try cold searing tomorrow. But sous vide is coming in Dec.

 As long as you left some pink, it don’t stink 🤷‍♂️✌️✊ 

 I ask for it cooked blue these days... usually comes over-cooked anyway.
