I'm waiting on a Tidradio H3 as a partner to this. I like the built in USBC programming on that radio. I might get the Bluetooth dongle for the Quansheng. Being able to program from my phone would be handy.

Handheld ham with open firmware. A field programmable radio transceiver.
Thats awesome. Did you build or can it be ordered? I don't know much about these radio projects, but interested to learn more. So pardon the silly question, but what do/can you do with it?
It is a finished product, and can be ordered. $30 on AliExpress. It can received & transmit most ham, unlicenced (GMRS, FRS, MURS, PMR446) & commercial radio frequencies.
Hello, what firmware do you use?
