Vanity and sink installed. Along with cabinet. So close to being done. Just a toilet and some odds and ends. https://i.nostr.build/0BjDxZWybKQVw3pl.jpg nostr:nevent1qqs2mjr0cyc98zar39n2na3c85sxfqs9t9wcl02ff3gqvrghddtk59spzamhxue69uhky6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctczyq79tyyq7erswjnr36wvd4xys7sxh74czpqz42u6v720kjdq2v2nuqcyqqqqqqg0h48gs
Will you set the toilet with wax or silicon gasket?
Plumber connect says go with wax ring. Tried and true. Previous toilet had a wax ring too. Had to use a flange extension kit to bring the flange up near new floor level.
Just curious... I've been using silicon gaskets and they are WAY easier to work with and.... so far so good!
Good to know they are both suitable!
I'm sure the gaskets are a lot less sticky. I know it's just wax but it feels so awkward in your hand.
Yeah... the foam risers seem flimsy and the silicon ring is like a cooking utility. They work tho. AND you don't have to nail it on the first try. Old vs. New(er) Construction material is changing...getting cheaper.
oh yeah I have one and the wax ring didn't get set right. not that it leaks! but it clogs easily. silicone is easier huh?
Give it a shake!
Toilet installed, trim cut and placed. Touch up paint, Hang hooks/towel bar. And I'm fucking doneeee https://i.nostr.build/CXlGbWAE7HC5pDp0.jpg nostr:nevent1qqsd9mhd9e8sxedwqm8k8clmzvnws5eewuzxk25ycg0a64c5eqz2vagpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsygpu2kggpaj8qa9x8r5ucm2vfpaqd0atsyzq924e5eu5ldy6q5c48cpsgqqqqqqsn0pxx2
