But the first ad before your video will grate your mind, and you’ll lock your phone to slip it into your pocket and still listen but the sound will die too. Then you’ll find the next video you want to watch so you’ll try but fail to add it to your queue. And then you shell out the $20. Such simple features of time savings and convenience keeps me paying. 🤦‍♂️

 I am thinking I should not pay for youtube because we need decentralized control over videos / our attention, but it is hard because I used to pay for it.

 Soon, I expect them to start limiting views unless you pay for YouTube premium unlimited.  There's no end to how they can sabotage their own service in order to extort another seemingly reasonable fee.
