Apple has been slowly expanding its enhanced Apple Maps (https://9to5mac.com/guides/apple-maps/) experience to more countries since 2018 when the company started collecting its own map data from scratch (https://9to5mac.com/2018/06/29/apple-maps-2/). Earlier this year, the new Apple Maps experience was launched in more European countries (https://9to5mac.com/2023/04/07/new-apple-maps-features/), including Austria, Croatia, and Poland. Apple has now confirmed that this experience will soon be available in Brazil.
