Amidst what's going on lately, I thought it might be a good time to remind everyone that @btcpayserver supports both PayJoin and CoinJoin. So if you're running a BTCPay instance, you can: 1. Withdraw Bitcoin from exchanges with PayJoin, obscuring the amount to outside observers. 2. Auto-initiate CoinJoin when certain conditions are met (desired Bitcoin amount and fee market). Bonus: You can easily run your own coordinator, mixing your Bitcoin without using mainstream services and coordinators. This could be a great asset for local communities with regular Bitcoin flows (e.g., DCA of members) to boost privacy collectively. The best part? It takes about 20 minutes to set up. I'm considering creating a video guide - would you watch it if I did? https://m.primal.net/HPxP.png https://m.primal.net/HPxQ.png https://m.primal.net/HPxR.png
Yes dude!
🤝 for cocktails and Uncle Ricky
Working with @mads to organize a meetup down here. Once we get the ball rolling I can approach uncle Ricky. I can't before then because I wouldn't want to waste his time. He's a busy man. But purple pilling Uncle Ricky would be monumental!
Absolutely Ser, please give it to me 🙏
👀
This looks like it is a wasabi implementation and requires you to agree to their terms service, which results in your uxto being screened by Chain Analysis for approval.
Every utxo is being scanned by chain surveillance, regardless of what you or others do.
take responsibility for your company’s decisions you of all people don’t get to confuse users between a transparent block chain anyone can audit & Wasabi overtly going out of its way to contract with Chain Analysis to white and black list incoming uxtos just so you can try and sell your ass to third parties as the regulated mixer when financial regulations become law. nice try, this isn’t your paid Wasabi paid chamber
yes! i dint understand the difference between a whirpool and coinjoin
Would I watch?! https://media0.giphy.com/media/HFyBNSSlNwNKE/giphy.gif
For sure 😁
In a world where even whirlpool is being black listed by Bitcoin companies, here is a good alternative. nostr:nevent1qqsdg22eqqf47t90skhwam7hgufuwkzngy6p862kakt4mzq46jww0rcpzdmhxue69uhkummnw3ezu7nzvshxwee0qgsfrjd9ux5hgsg5cmlz6cdwfh5zv2024g8m2t6g9zqf83l8uqm0svsrqsqqqqqpx2ys73
I would watch that.
@Kruw made these two awesome tutorials on how to use coinjoin in BTCPay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGVCrwMKKn0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5nFckPfPcA But the more the better!
Yes, please @UNCLE ROCKSTAR. Any educational BTCPay server video is greatly appreciated🌻
Sí
What is really needed is a true non-KYC accumulation option. On Bisq, Peach Bitcoin and Agoradesk, the most popular methods of exchange are KYC onboarding ramps like Zelle, Revolut, Cashapp, etc. There is still some exposure there. There was a time where gift cards were more popular, and this is still a great option. Buying gift cards in a store with cash, then simply using that card on an exchange would be a great strategy. #privacy #security #bitcoin

Absolutely yes I would
A video of this would be great. Is there somewhere we can find videos on setting up a BTCPay server for small businesses? Thank you!
The exchange would have to support PayJoin though. 🙁
Yes! Blur the nsec fwiw😉
yes
I would watch it and zap the fuck out of that video.
Fantastic for video please 🤙

I'd absolutely watch it but please make it accessible for not very technical people who are seeing BTCPay for the first time
