Amarendra Mishra, the bodyguard of Mauris Noronha, who was charged with the murder of Abhishek Ghosalkar, plans to approach the High Court to quash the FIR. The Crime Branch searched Mishra's house but found no evidence. Mishra's lawyer claims that there is no element of murder against him in the FIR and that the police are making him a scapegoat. Mishra has been remanded into police custody until February 13.
