 @5db72151 I enjoyed posting on reddit but lemmy seems like a jump in navigability and accessibility. Also it seems like a lot of people didn't move out from reddit. 
 @c2acbfae As with Mastodon and Twitter, I really don't want Lemmy to become Reddit with a new address. 
 @5db72151 I get it, I wouldn't like it to. But there are a lot of forums. They are scattered and even the big ones don't have so much engagement we'd consider them "the new G+". 

Forums inherently have a set of problems which were partially offset by Reddit's size - at the same time coming with other problems.

I guess at the time there are so many internet places where you can post your thoughts and link it anywhere you want there is not as much incentive for a forum.
