In a way things were so much sexier when left to the imagination.  One can take this image literally and see the ankle cuffs with hooks that hung the wearer from a chin-up bar.  It was supposed to be good for spinal decompression, that is if the blood didn't rush to your head faster than the disc relief one sought.

The other "silent part" might be seen as soft porn bondage.  I'm sure that wasn't lost on her press agent.

I used those hooks once and felt worse haha
