GA Operators! I though I would share my #lora #meshtastic setup with you: Waterproof case with a #RAKwireless radio powered by a twin 18650 battery-pack. Twin USB-C plug; one for external 5w power and the other for solar power (power & battery recharging). External high-gain Bluetooth and UHF antennas provide massive improvement to the standard antennas. I have 4 of these #radios which I can deploy immediately to provide a repeater mesh-network for my Commune and can cover my entire region (Walensee 🇨🇭 ). These can also connect to #meshtastic radios +50kms away in Zürich, expanding the mesh through the country. Anyone with a small/pocket radio will immediately connect to my mesh and can communicate with others in the mesh.
